Funding
An increasing part of our work is helping clubs with funding bids - whether it is a small application up to £5000 or a larger community facility bid such as the NEW swimming pool at Wentworth Leisure Centre, Haltwhistle Swimming and Leisure Centre, Allendale Middle School, Prudhoe WestWorld or Prudhoe Football & Sports Centre.
Facility Development -Gaining funding can be difficult for sports clubs, so the Sports Development Team are on hand to support and advise. We can help clubs develop their own constitutions, policies and development plans.
Club Success- In 2009 the following are examples of successfully funded projects:
- Tyne Green Boat House (£450,000)
- Prudhoe Boxing Club (£6,000)
- Trampolines at RTC (£9,634)
- New Football Posts at Otterburn and Hexham
