Soundwave Music Zone
MusicZone continues at Whitehaven Civic Hall on Wednesday evenings from 6-9pm. MusicZone is a project for 11-19s who want the opportunity to play, rehearse, record and perform with other like-minded budding stars. You might already be in a band and just need somewhere to rehearse and get expert advice, or help with song writing? You might be looking for other musicians to make music with? You might just fancy having a go at something new!
Whatever your interest in music, MusicZone is for you! You can come along and book a recording session to make a demo, or sign up for some instrumental or vocal tuition, or get help and support with song writing and rehearsing. And if you’re not in band (or even if you are!) you can join in other activity that will also run through the evening:
6pm – MusicZone Drummers (Boom Dang drums)
7pm – Working in smaller groups, song writing, instrumental tuition etc.
8pm - MusicZone Jam (bring your enthusiasm and an instrument or your voice and join in with everybody in a BIG group!)
MusicZone is part of SoundWave’s Youth Music Action Zone (YMAZ) project, supported by Youth Music and Copeland Borough Council. Sessions are free, although a suggested voluntary contribution of £25 per term is appreciated.
